As a rookie, being out on the track for the first time with all of the veterans was exciting! I got to see a lot of awesome teamwork and also got to learn a few tricks of the trade from some other teams. Funny thing was, I thought they were all going to be intimidating and rude, but that was not the case at all! Also, it helped to go a bit early and watch the guys ride. Turns out they are just as chatty as the girls, and look just as good in spandex shorts! Can't wait for another day out on the track :)
