Sophomore left fielder Alex Dickerson has been named Big Ten co-Player of the Week, the conference office announced today. Dickerson went 11-for-18 with two home runs and eight RBI to continue his torrid hitting streak, which sits at a league-best 16 games. He has had multiple hits in nine games in a row and has now driven in at least one run in 11 consecutive contests. Dickerson currently leads the league in home runs (10) and RBI (33) and is third in batting average (.426).

Sophomore lefty Drew Leininger has been named to the National Pitcher of the Year Watch List, the College Baseball Foundation announced. Leininger has been one of the most improved players in college baseball this season, as he has a 0.79 ERA with a 3-0 record and currently has a streak of 26 consecutive scoreless innings.
