For the third straight week, there are plenty of predictions available across the Internet for Saturday's game. And for the third straight week, most of them favor Penn State. Does IU even have a chance to win tomorrow? I picked up a copy of the USA Today to read on the way to State College, and the paper listed Penn State as 25-point favorites.
On to game predictions. A lot of identical score predictions for this one.
Penn State 30, IU 13 - USA Today Campus Rivalry Blog: "If it seems like the Nittany Lions play every game at home, you would almost be right."
IU 23, Penn State 21 - Ryan Winn, IDS: "I haven't picked an upset this year. So, what the heck? I'll join Lynch in leaving it all on the field this week."
- Penn State 34, IU 13 - Bob Flounders, Patriot-News: "Penn State doesn't know how to lose (to) Indiana."
- Penn State 38, IU 30 - Nick Horvath, Jr., Patriot-News: "Pesky Hoosiers in a nothing-to-lose mode and can hang around like a gnat at a picnic if Lions aren't careful. Rout be a surprise."
- Penn State 31, IU 17 - Joe Hermitt, Patriot-News: "A big 3rd quarter provides separation for the Lions."
- Penn State 38, IU 30 - David Jones, Patriot-News: "Depressed Lions better keep their chins up or even Senior Day could become a debacle."
- Penn State 31, IU 17 - Chris Korman, Bloomington Herald-Times: "Don't be surprised if Jammie Kirlew and Greg Middleton have a few sacks and cause a fumble or two... and Indiana fails to capitalize."
Penn State 34, IU 17 - Adam Rittenberg, ESPN Big Ten Blog: "With a BCS at-large berth still a decent possibility, Penn State turns it on in the second and third quarters."
Penn State 34, IU 17 - Bill Kline, Nittany Lines blog: "The Lions should wear down and pull away from the Hoosiers in the second half."
What do you think the final score will be?
