IU coach Bill Lynch said during the weekly radio show that the team has contacted the Big Ten concerning the officiating during Saturday's game against Iowa, specifically a controversial touchdown called back in the third quarter.

Prior to the show, host Don Fischer said he would ask one question about the officiating and would not address it any further. When Fischer asked Lynch about the officials early in the show, Lynch said the issue "will be handled appropriately" and quickly changed the subject.

However, several phone callers asked Lynch's opinion on the officiating. Lynch did not add anything further about the officials.

Fischer asked player guests Damarlo Belcher and Will Patterson about how players handle officiating during games. Patterson said it's his role as a senior to get the players focused even if there is a bad call on the field.

In other notes from the radio show, Lynch said cornerback Ray Fisher will miss this week's game against Wisconsin. Fisher injured his knee while returning the opening kickoff against Iowa. Fisher had an MRI today and his injury will be reevaluated next week.
