Today marks the first of several periodic updates on how IU's NBA players have faired here in 2009-10.

Eric Gordon, playing for the 1-4 Los Angeles Clippers, has put up solid numbers thus far. Gordon is second on the team, to only big man Chris Kaman, in both points and minutes, with his overall stat line reading 18.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.2 steals per game. He is also shooting 48 percent from 3-point territory (10-21). The Clippers, whose only win has come by three versus Minnesota, travel up to Golden State on Friday.

It took three games for Mike D'Antoni to realize he didn't want Jared Jeffries in his starting lineup. When the New York Knicks (1-3)took the floor for their fourth game last night, Jeffries came off the bench and later needed stiches after getting hit above his right eye. Despite averaging 32 minutes over the course of the first two games, Jeffries played just a combined 32 minutes in the last two. He's averaging 4.0 points and 3.0 rebounds, with a season-high of 11 points at Charlotte on Oct. 30.

The young, but talented Oklahoma City Thunder are off to a nice 2-1 start, but D.J. White has yet to see the floor in their first three games. White averaged 8.9 points and 4.6 rebounds in his seven games with the Thunder last April. OKC hosts the Los Angeles Lakers at 8 p.m. tonight.
