This Saturday, No. 17 Indiana plays the Ball State Cardinals in the seventh game at 1 pm in Bloomington.
The Hoosiers have a 4-2 record on the season, with a split in the two games in North Carolina. They beat the Davidson Wildcats 6-1 on Sept. 12 and had a 5-2 loss to No. 3 Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Sept. 13.
The all-time record between the Hoosiers and Cardinals is 6-3, with IU winning the last five games.
On Aug. 19, IU beat Ball State 3-0 in a pre-season scrimmage in Muncie, IN. Last year, the Cardinals went 2-17 with a 1-9 Mid-American conference record. This year, Ball State is 2-4 with wins against Davidson and Appalachian State.
