IU field hockey begins its trip to North Carolina with a 6-1 win against the Davidson Wildcats.
The No. 18 Hoosiers improve their season's record to 4-1 with the win. Two goals each by senior forward Alina Valenti and redshirt-freshman forward Morgan Fleetwood proved to be the decisive goals in another victory.
Also, one goal each by sophomore midfielder Jaclyn Milici and redshirt-sophomore back Brenna Moeljadi helped the Hoosiers win.
The lone Wildcat goal came at the 60th minute by junior forward Jennie Mostellar.
IU field hockey will finish their two game series in North Carolina by traveling to Winston Salem, NC to face the No. 3 Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
