It was not a matter of "if," but instead a matter of "when." Five-star senior point guard Kyrie Irving will be on campus for his official the weekend of Oct. 2, according to Adam Zagoria.

That weekend, IU football is set to host Ohio State.

It has appeared to be a two-team race between IU and Duke for Irving's services, the latter which he plans to visit the prior weekend. But Irving has in-home visits scheduled with seven schools and can officially visit up to five schools (including IU and Duke).

Kentucky is also expected to be one of those schools to get an official visit from the New Jersey guard, according to Zagoria.

As for the in-home visits, Drederick Irving, Kyrie's father, listed "...Kentucky, Duke, Indiana, Texas A&M, Seton Hall, Georgia Tech and UConn" as the seven schools who will visit with the Irving's. The IU coaches are expected to make their visit on Sept. 14.
