The pressure is on Jim Tressel and his Ohio State Buckeyes in the upcoming season.

The Buckeyes have been announced as the preseason favorite for 2009. At the end of last season Ohio State tied with Penn State for the conference title, going 7-1 in the conference. Ohio State finished 10-3 in 2008.

Their quarterback, Terrelle Pryor, was also selected as Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, while Michigan State's Greg Jones was announced as the Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.

It comes as no surprise, then, that Penn State is ranked second heading into the season, with an 11-2 record overall in 2008. Michigan State rounds out the top tier of preseason favorites in third.
