A few weeks ago, IU had one too many scholarship players in the fold for next season. Now, IU coach Tom Crean has one more scholarship to give, following today's announcement that freshman Nick Williams is leaving the program.

Williams, a 6-foot-4 guard who averaged 8.9 points and 4.5 rebounds per game this season, said he was unhappy with his position on the team.

"After the season, Nick expressed displeasure with his role this year and also shared concern with members of our coaching staff about his future role in the program," Crean said in a statement released by IU media relations. "He is a fine young man and we have enjoyed our relationship with him over time. He played hard and did some very good things for us and we wish him the best."

Freshman walk-on Broderick Lewis is also leaving the team.

Should Crean seek to bring in a seventh freshman or should he go the junior college route to add experience and help balance out the scholarships? Should Daniel Moore be in the running for a scholarship (CLARIFICATION: for only the 2009-10 season, instead of finding another player to fill the 13th scholarship)?
