Behind the arms of junior pitchers Eric Arnett and Chris Squires, the Hoosiers beat Michigan 8-7 on Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor.
Arnett moved to 9-1 after pitching six and one third innings, giving up eight hits and six earned runs. Squires earned the save after pitching two and two third innings, allowing just two hits and zero earned runs.
Junior catcher Josh Phegley hit his 11th home run of the season in the third inning. Junior shortstop Jake Dunning and sophomore outfielder Kipp Schutz each had three hits on the afternoon.
The Hoosiers complete their three-game series with Michigan at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday at Ray Fisher Stadium.
