An update from the track, as of 1:40 p.m.
The Teter women's team set a new track qualification record with a four-lap time of 2:35.54 and are solidly in control of the pole position. If they hold the top spot for the rest of the day, this will be the third consecutive year Teter claims the pole. However, they did not win the race from the pole in either 2007 or 2008.
On the men's side, Phi Delta Theta currently sits in first place with a four-lap time of 2:22.69.
