IU will face Kentucky today at 4 p.m. In fact, they're playing right now.
The Hoosiers are coming off of two wins and a 18-3 thrashing of Morehead State. While IU has been successful lately, Kentucky is a perennial power in the South Eastern Conference, which is held by many as the best in the country.
Kentucky went 19-0 to start its two previous seasons, and is 11-2 this year. Since losing two games to Coastal Carolina in February, the Wildcats have gone 8-0 -- which includes three wins against an Indiana State team that defeated IU, 11-2.
This post is coming a little late, so here's a peek into the game: IU up 2-0 in the third inning.
Let's hope I don't jinx the Hoosiers -- I'm knocking on wood right now -- but a win against Kentucky might be just what they need to get on a roll just before springtime and conference play.
