On Tuesday the Hoosiers looked like a confident team after knocking off Wisconsin the previous night to end their four-game loosing streak.

-They played with good energy despite not getting back home until 1:30a.m. from Wisconsin.

-Senior Whitney Thomas did not practice for the Hoosiers. Legette-Jack said they gave her a day off against her will, but that she is fine and will be ready to go for Thursday nights game against Northwestern. Thomas suffered a blow to the head after running into a screen set by a Wisconsin player Monday night. She was out of the game for a few minutes and then returned.

-When asked if the players thought they would make the NCAA tournament if the season ended today, senior Amber Jackson said they most likely would not, but that it was a good thing that have more games remaining.

-This is what Coach Jack had to say about the NCAA Tournament selection

"We have to make the NCAA committee understand we are very sincere and very respectful of the criteria it takes to be in their dance. We certainly want to fulfill that criteria by going out in February and winning basketball games and going into March."

Thoughts? Will the overtime victory be enough to carry them to some more wins down the stretch. I hate to look ahead, but i think the Ohio State game will be key to determining if the Hoosiers make the NCAA tournament. They really need that marquee win, especially after loosing four in a row including 2 against Illinois.
