Thanks to the technological wonders of blogging and Blackberries, I am able to bring you this grainy cell phone picture I took of the basketball practice facility, which has recently sprung out of the ground and begun to take shape.
The facility is the second large project undertaken as part of the athletics facilities expansion that began with the North End Zone Project.
I talked to Fred Glass yesterday, and he said that the setbacks experienced when they opened up the ground and found they had to move some utility lines earlier this year have been overcome. He expects the facility to be finished by December of this year.
We'll try to get a real photographer out sometime soon. In the meantime, enjoy this grainy substitute.
