A frustrated Tom Crean walks the sideline during the Hoosiers 93-81 loss to Ohio State on Saturday afternoon at Assembly Hall.

With the players energized, the crowd borderline riotous and a lead at the half, Hoosier fans were once again forced to asked themselves, "Could today be the day?"

It was not.

The Hoosiers (5-15, 0-8) reluctantly made history Saturday with their 11th consecutive loss, tying a 66-year-old school record. Ohio State outlasted IU and overcame an unconscious performance by freshman guard Matt Roth, to beat IU, 93-81.

Roth, who tied Roderick Wilmont's school-record with nine 3-pointers, finished with a career-high 29.

The Buckeyes shot 64 percent for the game, with four players combining for 91 one of their points. Evan Turner led Ohio State with 29 points and 10 rebounds.
