Hello devoted followers of the IU baseball team!
With this being our first post to "Inside Pitch," I just wanted to introduce myself (Greg Rosenstein) and my co-beat writer (DeAntae Prince). DeAntae is from Chicago and has covered men's soccer, wrestling and softball for the IDS. I am from Washington D.C. (please don't bash on my beloved Nationals!) and was a beat reporter for men's soccer and the Little 500.
We both met with Coach Smith this past week at practice and are really looking forward to seeing what this IU baseball team has in store this season. DeAntae and I will try to post daily information on the team, as well as have smaller features and interviews.

Rivals.com College Baseball Editor Kendall Rogers has both Josh Phegley and Matt Bashore on his 1st team All-Big Ten. Rogers also has IU as his conference "Team on the Rise" and Phegley as the Big Ten's top hitter.
