Just came across this from ESPN, which says Randy Wittman was fired as coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Wittman leaves after serving as an assistant or coach through parts of seven seasons in Minnesota.
The former IU standout was in Bloomington Nov. 30 to watch his son Ryan play for Cornell, as the Big Red and Hoosiers squared off at Assembly Hall. Kevin McHale will take over coaching duties (insert joke here).
