The Horned Frogs of Texas Christian University come to Bloomington tomorrow night at 8 pm. Be sure to check out tomorrow's IDS for full coverage, but here's some quick info. on LaDanian Tomlinson's former school.
- TCU is 7-3 and currently riding a six game winning streak.
- Coached by Jim Christian, who previously was head coach at Kent State. Christian and Crean apparently are chums - they were assistants together at Western Kentucky and Christian was in Crean's wedding party.
- Keep an eye on #1, 6-9 220 pound junior center for TCU Zvonko Buljan. The Croation big man averages 10.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. There's really no statistical all star on TCU; they have three guys averaging double figures in points and a couple of guards that seem to run the offense. (In other words, I haven't seen them play, nor did Crean have a press conference to share some insight on the type of team the Horned Frogs have.)
So my question to the basketbloggers and basketbloggets would be is this a trap game for the Hoosiers? Coming off playing two of the tougher teams they'll see all season, and about to head into Lexington Kentucky, are you worried IU might overlook TCU?
If any of you have happened to see the Horned Frogs in action this year; what can be expected from them?
