In the first game of the 2008 Big Ten Tournament, No. 4 Northwestern defeated No. 5 Penn State in double overtime to advance and play No. 1 Michigan State on Friday.
The goal in the 103rd minute was the difference as Wildcat junior midfielder Carl Pett headed in a rebound off of the crossbar.
