Some quick facts about the Beavers of Bemidji State:
* Located in Bemidji, Minnesota, on Lake Bemidji.
* Their head coach, Matthew Bowen, is a graduate of Indiana University, (class of 1995.) He was a student manager under coach Bobby Knight while at IU, and recently was an assistant under Homer Drew at Valparaiso University. I'm guessing his ties to IU is the reason Bemidji State landed this exhibition game.
* Last season Bowen and the Beavers went 6-21, and 1-11 on the road. (Yikes)
* While the team is a little bigger overall than Anderson, they don't have the size a typical IU opponent will have this year. Their biggest guy is 6-10, a character named Sergej Baskow out of Germany. They have another 6-10 center, a sophomore named Jimmy Johnson.
* Um...That's pretty much all I got. None of the guys on the team had eye popping numbers, which I guess could be expected out of a team that went 6-21. If you want to take a look at their team and some of the guy's that'll be opposite of the Hoosiers Tuesday night, CLICK HERE
My question is, (besides a victory) What are you looking for out of IU on Tuesday? Do you want to see them improve on the boards? Do you want to see a sharper defensive effort? Do you want to see more of Brett Finkelmeier?
