Senior forward Amber Jackson, playing in front of her mother for the first time in college played two of the best games of her career, including her 25 point effort Saturday night propelling the Hoosiers to a 80-63 win over the Saint Mary's Gaels in the Championship game of the Hilton Concord Classic.

Jackson's stats for the 2 tournament games

Points per game: 25

Rebounds per game: 5

Field goal percentage: 83.3 percent (20-24)

Free-throw percentage: 76.9 percent (10-13)

Other notes from the tournament

-Senior forward Whitney Thomas and sophomore Jori Davis also earned all-tournament team honors. On Saturday night Davis recorded her first double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Also playing well for the Hoosiers, Senior guard/forward Kim Roberson added 12 points, 6 assists, and 3 steals in the game.

-Freshman Sasha Chaplin made an impact in California as she played 16 minutes in the first game and had 10 points on 5-5 shooting. Chaplin also averaged 5 rebounds a game for the tournament.

So with three consecutive wins this has to give the Hoosiers some confidence going into what will be a tough contest Dec. 5 against Miami in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge in Coral Gables, Florida.

What do you think? Will these wins give the Hoosiers the momentum they need to go on a longer winning streak before winter break?
