Proving deserving yet again of their No. 6 seed, the Hoosiers shut-out the No. 11 Wolverines 3-0 on Saturday.

In the final home match of the season, IU knocked off Michigan with a triple threat of sophomore forward Andy Adlard and senior midfielders Brad Ring and John Mellencamp.

Notching his seventh goal of the season, Adlard began the avalanche with a blast in the top left in the 34th minute. The crew continued the goals in the second half as Ring netted one in from Adlard's cross in the 77th minute. It was Ring's first goal this year. Five minutes later, Mellencamp sealed the match for the team's first three-goal game since Oct. 26.

The Hoosiers play No. 3 St. John's at 5 p.m. on Saturday in Queens, NY., for a chance to head to the College Cup in Frisco, Texas.
