DJ White's rookie season has just been put on hold.
The former Hoosier will undergo jaw surgery next week to remove a benign growth and will miss four to six months following the surgery, the Oklahoma City Thunder announced today.
Doctors will take a bone graft from White's hip to mend the bone in his jaw, the press release said. The Thunder selected White with the 29th overall pick in this summer's draft.
