Although the IU women's soccer team did their part winning their two games over the weekend they still fell just short making it to the Big Ten Tournament due to Illinois defeat over Ohio State. This was not how the Hoosiers anticipated ending their season after last year's bow out in the round of sixteen in the college cup. However, this team can build on the fact that graduate no seniors and played very competitive in conference play losing every game by just a goal. Going 3-0-1 to finish the season is something junior midfielder Kristin Arnold said her team can be proud of.
"It's a great confidence booster for us coming into next year," she said. "Instead of finishing with a poor record we finished strong and that is a positive"
