Say what you want. Even if you put no weight on recruiting rankings, you still look at them (or at least sift through the many basketblog posts by yours truly). While Scout.com and Rivals.com seem to have the greatest reputation, let's not forget about the "The Worldwide Leader in Sports." ESPN.com released updated rankings, although I am really unsure how much they have changed (disclaimer: Nick Williams No. 24 and Tom Pritchard, No. 71 for Class of 2008, contrary to three-star ratings from Scout and Rivals):

Class of 2009 (ESPNU 100):

  • No. 26, Christian Watford
  • No. 61, Maurice Creek
  • No. 100, Bobby Capobianco
Class of 2010 (Super 60):
  • No. 33, Daniel Bejarano (Rival of Matt Carlino says IU interest has dropped since Carlino committed)
  • No. 39, Jordan McRae (almost verballed a few weeks back)
  • No. 40, Ray McCallum (virtually no chance of coming to IU now, but almost a lock a year ago)
  • No. 51, Lenzelle Smith (Unofficially visited last weekend)
  • No. 58, Russell Byrd (Fort Wayne native interested in IU)
Class of 2011 (Terrific 25, great names by the way):
  • No. 14, Marques Teague (Indy Pike H.S. native on the radar of IU and basically every other school)
  • No. 17, Matt Carlino (IU commit)
  • No. 22, Michael Chandler (Lawrence North's next star big man)
