Tom Crean and IU assistant Roshown McLeod were up in the Garden State on Wednesday to visit with Dominic Cheek, a five-star recruit from legendary prep program St. Anthony. Cheek, his uncle Omari Knight and St. Anthony coach Bob Hurley met with the IU coaches for two hours and came away with a good perspective on where Crean and IU are at this point.
Not long ago, Cheek said he "definitely" planned to take a visit to IU, although more recently in an article by Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.net it appeared that Cheek was no longer looking hard at the Hoosiers. After this visit last night, Knight indicated to Zagoria that he and his nephew would like to check out IU.
"It has made us definitely want to come out and make a visit," Knight said. "Go see everything and get an overall picture."
