Scout.com has released a list of the ten biggest names in the class of 2011. Austin Rivers, ranked No. 4 and brother of current IU guard Jeremiah Rivers, is the only recruit of the ten verbally committed to a school (Florida). Most notable on the list is Indianapolis Pike High School point guard Marques Teague, ranked No. 5.

Last month, Teague told the Louisivlle Courier-Journal that Cincinnati, Ohio State, Indiana and Purdue had extended scholarship offers, while Louisville, Illinois, Texas and Kentucky were among the many others showing interest.

Scout also provided just over 40 more names of players to watch including:

  • Chasson Randle (Rock Island, Ill.), PG - has received interest from the IU coaching staff
  • Kevin Ware (Decatur, Ga.), PG - Atlanta Celtics star likely hasn't been on IU's radar, but could be with recent hiring of Roshown McLeod
  • Jeremiah Davis (Muncie, Ind.), PG - Muncie Central star has been offered by IU and is likely one of Tom Crean's primary 2011 targets
  • Trevor Lacey (Huntsville, Ala.), SG - it's a stretch, but perhaps there is some connection between the No. 4 SG and Huntsville native D.J. White
  • Matt Carlino (Gilbert, Ariz.), SG - Carlino is a big Bob Knight fan and there seems to be plenty of mutual interest between the guard and the IU coaching staff
  • Marshall Plumlee (Warsaw, Ind.), PF - Indiana Elite star plays for Christ School in Arden, N.C., following in the footsteps of older brothers Miles and Mason, both of whom are headed to Duke
  • Michael Chandler (Indianapolis), C - Scout.com's Evan Daniels calls the Lawrence North sophomore the "best prospect" between he and fellow Hoosier State natvies Teague and Plumlee
