Meyers Leonard, a 6-foot-10 center from Robinson, Ill. and an IU target, has chosen to play basketball at the University of Illinois. Leonard, ranked No. 43 in the class of 2010 according to Scout.com, will join Jerome Richardson (No. 11) and Crandall Head (No. 12), who have also verbally comitted to play for Bruce Weber in 2010. With Illinois' loaded class and Ohio State already having two top ten commits (Jared Sullinger and DeShaun Thomas), it will be interesting to see what Tom Crean can accomplish on the recruiting trail these next few years.
