They were just encouraging wins earlier this year, but I would imagine Tracy Smith and the Hoosiers feel pretty good now about early-season wins over LSU and Fresno State now that the Bayou Bengals and Bulldogs are in Omaha.
The Hoosiers took one each in three total games against each team, though they would argue they should have had two at now-closed and always-tough-on-the-road-team Alex Box Stadium in February.
