Here's from our friends in the media relations department:
IU coach Bill Lynch's statement on Porter and Hardy being drafted:
"We are extremely proud of both Tracy and James," Lynch said. "They gave everything they had to Indiana University and have been rewarded for all of their efforts. We congratulate them and look forward to watching their NFL careers for many years to come."
My question to you UndertheRockers is this: Who is in the better situation, Porter or Hardy?
On the one hand, Porter has a chance to play near his home town, and on a team who two years ago was a game away from the Superbowl.
Hardy goes to the tougher conference with a team not quite as talented, but will have a chance to compete for a starting role right away, and joins a young offense on a team that almost made the playoffs last year.
Who got the better deal?
