And that's the game. MSU wins by 29, 103-74. Gordon led the Hoosiers with 22 points.

Check Monday's IDS for further coverage.

IU goes on a mini-run to cut the lead to 75-51 at the 12-minute TV timeout. Gordon will be on the line when action returns.

---

The two teams have gone back and forth in the second half which MSU loves and IU hates.

MSU leads 71-45 @ 13:12

---

Simply stated, the worst half of basketball from the Hoosiers all season. MSU leads 59-31 after shooting a crazy-good 77.8% from the field.

Dan Dakich better have taken classes with Mike Huckabee in college, because unless he didn't major in miracles there is no way the Hoosiers can come back.

More of the same - MSU runs the lead up to 29, 53-24.

---

MSU is shooting 83% from the floor, but really a lot of those shots are because of great execution. MSU leads 43-19.

---

MSU takes a 16 point lead into the 8-minute TV timeout, 35-19.

---

Any time IU gets something going, they shoot themselves in the foot. Crawford has air balled a three pointer and bricked a dunk.

---

A little improvement for IU going into the 12-minute TV timeout. Defensively, IU will need to improve as the Spartans are getting whatever they want.

MSU leads 27-16 @ 11:32

---

Not much better for the Hoosiers leading into the TV timeout. Bassett hit a three pointer, but MSU has scored two baskets and will go to the line for an old-fashion three point play when the teams return to action.

MSU leads 22-10 @ 14:00.

---

And Dakich has had enough. The coach calls a timeout with his Hoosiers trailing 18-7. On both ends of the floor IU is not producing. Offensively, IU has been careless with the ball and has missed some easy shots. Defensively, MSU has only missed one shot.

MSU up 18-7.

---

MSU has not missed a shot, taking a 16-7 lead.

---

DJ White is in a funk this game - the senior missed his first two FT's and just missed a lay-up.

Stemler picks up his second foul - Crawford enters for him.

---

IU comes out in the zone defense as MSU hits a jumper to take a 5-2 lead.

---

Stemler misses a three to start things and then MSU hits a three on the other end. Gordon responds with a driving lay-up.

---

Starters for IU: White, Ellis, Stemler, Bassett and Gordon.

Welcome to March basketball. Mike and I are here at the Breslin Center where the Spartans are celebrating Senior day for Drew Neitzel and Drew Naymick. MSU is on Spring Break, but the Izzone is pretty full thirty minutes before tip-off.

This is a big game for both teams as the Hoosiers look to keep pace in the race for the Big Ten championship. MSU, on the other hand, has lost 3 of its last 5 games - so the Spartans want to get some momentum heading into the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments.

Senior D.J. White told former IU coach Kelvin Sampson when Sampson first arrived that his goal was for the Hoosiers to win on the road. IU has a 7-1 mark on the road this season. Let's see if White and Co. can live up to the goal set by the senior captain.
