We are still awaiting a press conference that some anticipated for 6 p.m. That time and came and passed, but we are still waiting in the Hoosier Room at Memorial Stadium. There is no official word whether or not a press conference will in fact take place today.
We have been waiting here for about three hours, and several other media outlets have joined us. As of right now, we don't have wireless internet access so we are doing updates to the blog by phone.
Earlier today, the Indianapolis Star reported that D.J. White, Jamarcus Ellis, Armon Bassett, Jordan Crawford, DeAndre Thomas and Brandon McGee skipped a practice that was run by assistant coach Dan Dakich.
If there is a press conference, we will have updates as soon as it's over.
