As promised, I'm here to provide links to the stories we've in tomorrow's paper.
Buckey wrote an article wrapping the game against Wisconsin, I wrote a feature story about the team's balance on the scoresheet in beating Wisconsin and on the season and I also have a piece I did before the game about team rebounding.
Apologies for the incorrect Big Ten mark in the last story, it was written and sent through well before tonight's game.
Speaking of tonight's game, there was some serious Big Ten shake-up tonight. Ohio State lost to Illinois, putting them at 7-3 in the conference. At the same time, Purdue beat Minnesota, giving them a share of first place with an identical record. Surprise Iowa is also 7-3 atop the Big Ten standings.
IU is half a game behind all of these teams at 6-3. It's a crazy year in the Big Ten, and the three teams at the top prove that. Purdue was supposed to be down and currently sports a mere 11-10 record. Ohio State was the preseason conference favorite and the only Big Ten team ranked this week - that might change after their loss. Iowa just about came out of nowhere, as they finished 6-11 in the conference last year.
The Hoosiers travel to Hawkeye country this weekend, in a road test that will have an immense effect on the conference race down the line, it would appear. Stay with www.idsnews.com and Above the Rim this weekend, and we'll be sure to bring you up-to-the-minute coverage of the Hoosiers' game against Iowa.
