Hey folks,

A little love for you on a Tuesday afternoon. Buckey and I were in attendance for the Hoosiers' practice yesterday afternoon, and below are a few relevant tidbits.

-Jori Davis was dressed for practice and out of her boot. She looked comfortably mobile, and she was shooting free throws. Coach Jack said she has no idea what Davis' actual timetable is for returning, but it looks like the freshman will be back and suiting up for the Hoosiers. -It appears Jack and the coaching staff want Whitney Lindsey to take a more active role in the point position. Coach Jack spent much of practice encouraging Lindsey to be more vocal and controlling of her team on offense, and it looked like the freshman point guard might get another start Wednesday, which would free up Jamie Braun to operate more as a two-guard whose focus can shift more to scoring. -Speaking of Braun, she's on fire at the moment. She's scored in double digits in her last 12 games, and she's fifth in the Big Ten in scoring with 15.4 points per game. She also has four games of 20 or more points in that 12-game stretch. -The Hoosiers are living on the edge of the bubble right now, and losing late to Michigan State didn't help their cause. From here, the Hoosiers likely need to win out (which would give them impressive wins over a ranked Ohio State team at home and Minnesota on the road), and then make a little noise in the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis to make the field of 65. One of the things the Hoosiers have on their side right now, however, is their win over West Virginia, currently No. 13 nationally. Most other bubble teams with similar resumes don't have a signature win of that stature.

Check out my preview in tomorrow's IDS, and be sure to stay with us Thursday for a wrap of the Hoosiers' trip to Wisconsin.
