Hoosier nation is certainly divided after the second round of violations for coach Kelvin Sampson and the men's basketball team. I thought it was interesting to revisit some of the comments on our post last week about our interview with Sampson.
Brandon Alton said : I trust our coach with the program, and that's something I haven't been able to say for 10 years.
Jack Schnider said: everything he's done since taking the job has reinforced my belief he'll lead IU back to greatness. Thank you, Rick Greenspan.
I wonder what Brandon and Jack think today. Let's contrast that with some of our recent comments.
Half Awake said: How sad! Things felt so positive just a couple of days ago.
Mike H. said: It doesn't matter how little the violations are, this is just another black eye for the program, and right after the mackey situation, even though it wasn't Kelvin fault at all and just a terrible situation, makes IU look worse, I just feel embarrassed almost to have supported him and gotten into so many arguments with Purdue fans, it just sucks.
Ryan said: I had faith that he could change his ways, obviously he can not.
I have not seen many positive comments on our blog since the new violations have come to light. Is there anyone out there who still supports Sampson? Or is the overwhelming sentiment that IU should get have another coaching change.
