This week's segment of the "funny but unrelated segment of the blog" goes to senior cornerback, and team captain, Tracy Porter. For the record, we needed a new name for this segment and I'm in the process of thinking up some names. You guys are more than welcome to submit suggestions for the name of this segment as well as send in questions to ask the players - fun questions. Without further ado, here goes the interview.
1) Hottest celebrity Porter: "Hottest celebrity...uh...there's a lot. But I think I would have to say Beyonce."
2) How awesome is the video game version of Tracy Porter? "It's pretty good because I never really envisioned myself being on a video game. The only thing I don't like too much about it is the fact that they didn't give me much speed."
3) What's your favorite way to score - an interception return, fumble return, or a punt return? "I'd have to say an interception, by far."
4) IU's Memorial Stadium, or U of I's Memorial Stadium? "Oh, IU's Memorial Stadium."
5) Favorite type of Cajun food? "Oh, I love Cajun food. I have multiple favorites - jambalaya, red beans and rice, crawfish, gumbo. I could go on and on."
6) Better football environment - Big Ten football, or SEC football? "Ah. I mean, being a Louisiana boy, I've been to a lot of LSU games. They can get pretty crazy. As far as me playing, I'd have to say Big Ten. But as a spectator, I'd say SEC."
7) Hardest hitter on the team? "Austin Thomas."
8 ) Least favorite class at IU? "Oh man, any science class. And I'm in biology right now, so it sucks."
9) Best vacation spot to take a girl? "Somewhere on the Bahamas - watch the sun set on the beach." 10) Best football writer on the IDS? "Haha, anybody who interviews me."
