I've already put my two cents in on Sampson's latest recruiting violations, but this issue isn't going to go away anytime soon. The opinions out there range from "The impermissible calls were minor infractions, and IU sufficiently punished the coaching staff" to "Sampson should know better by now and should be fired."

If you are an IU senior like me, the last thing you want is to see Sampson fired. He's brought together more talent this year than my first three years on campus combined. If Sampson was fired, this year's season would go down the drain. The next year too most likely.

Then the choir boy in me pipes up in the back of my head. "He cheated the system again! His staff didn't change a bit after the NCAA came down on them in 2006! Drastic action needs to be taken!"

I feel like I've got the demon-angel perched-on-the-shoulder thing going on. Who has the better case?
