The talk of the town is to 'Play 13.' While that certainly is a fine goal to have, what is the ceiling for IU? Seeing as they're undefeated heading into Big 10 play, we may as well take a look.
Will James Hardy be in the final three for the Biletnikoff trophy? Can he win it? (FIVE TD's in 3 games)
What about Kellen Lewis? Does he have a shot of being Big Ten player of the year? What about being a finalist for the Heisman? What about WINNING the Heisman? (Averaging FOUR TD's a game...)
What about the team? Is the motor city bowl really all they're capable of? The Big Ten is down this year. Michigan is a joke, Iowa just lost to Iowa State and Wisconsin had to battle tooth and nail to pull out a 'W' over the Citadel. (Extra credit if anyone knows what state the Citadel is in without looking it up...)
How far can the Hoosiers go? Can they WIN the Big 10? Are they the best team in Indiana? (They're clearly better than those guys from South Bend...)
I'm sure if I asked these questions to Bill Lynch or any of the players they would give me the standard, "We are taking everything one day at a time....Illinois is all we are focused on...blah blah blah" (They really are commited to that particular Cliche)
So instead I am asking Hoosiernation because I bet you have some thoughts on this...Let's talk
