If you haven't heard about Tyler Zeller, you just have not been paying attention. The 6ft 10in five-star (according to www.rivals.com) center from Washington, Indiana has been one of the most sought after players in the nation this year. Zeller has cut his list of schools to four - UNC, Notre Dame, Purdue and IU.
Zeller made his first official visit last weekend to North Carolina. Coach Roy Williams did not leave anything to chance by brining in former TarHeels and current NBA players such as Sean May & Eric Montross (both native Hoosiers), Raymond Felton and Marvin Williams among others.
The Indy Star had a good article about the visit. Also, as part of the Star's "Chasing Tyler" series, there is a video interview with the Mr. Basketball front runner.
Hoosier fans need not worry yet, Zeller will be in Bloomington this weekend to take in the football game and hang out with the team for his official visit. Also, Coach Sampson will be speaking at Tyler's hometown this week. Coincidence? You be the judge.
Michael is going to try and catch up with Tyler this week, so look for a story in the IDS. Happy Tuesday.
