SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7 treatment referral and information service for people facing mental health and substance use disorders. It connects callers with local treatment facilities, support groups and community-based organizations.

Amethyst House provides residential and outpatient treatment services for people with drug and alcohol addiction. Outpatient clients must be clean and sober for a minimum of two weeks before beginning treatment. Residential applicants generally must be clean and sober for at least five days before entering the program, unless transferring from a hospital or detox center. Fees are based on a sliding scale. Amethyst House accepts several insurance and Medicaid plans.

Centerstone's Recovery Engagement Center is a crisis walk-in center specializing in addiction recovery and housing services. It offers recovery classes, recovery coaching, 12-step meetings, computers with internet, a Friday community lunch and special recovery events.

IRA provides harm-reduction services, including syringe services, HIV/HCV testing, treatment referrals, wound care and outreach.

The Monroe County Health Department provides harm-reduction services, including free naloxone, overdose prevention training, fentanyl and xylazine test strips, HIV and Hepatitis C testing and referrals to substance use and mental health treatment. The department also partners with the Indiana Recovery Alliance to operate the Monroe County Syringe Service Program, which provides sterile syringes, safe sharps and medication disposal as well as referrals to health and social services.
