Former Indiana men’s basketball star Trayce Jackson-Davis is headed north of the border, as the Golden State Warriors dealt the forward to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday evening, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

The Raptors traded a second-round pick for Jackson-Davis, who spent the first two and a half seasons of his professional career with the Warriors. Through 36 games so far this season, the Center Grove, Indiana, native averaged 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.

Jackson-Davis played in 130 total games across his first two seasons in Golden State, scoring 7.3 points per contest under head coach Steve Kerr. The Warriors selected Jackson-Davis in the second round of the 2023 NBA Draft with the 57th overall pick.

Jackson-Davis played four seasons at Indiana from 2019-23, solidifying himself as one of the program’s all-time greats. The 2019 Indiana Mr. Basketball was a four-time All-Big Ten forward who poured in 17.9 points per contest throughout his 126-game career in Bloomington.

Now, Jackson-Davis will head to Toronto, where he’ll look to contribute to a 30-22 squad that sits sixth in the Eastern Conference standings. Forward Brandon Ingram leads the Raptors in scoring at 21.9 points per game, while forward Scottie Barnes scores 19.4.
