Indiana men’s soccer’s senior forward Palmer Ault was named a semifinalist for the 2025 men’s MAC Hermann Trophy, per a release from the United Soccer Coaches on Tuesday.

The MAC Hermann Trophy honors the top player in Division I soccer and is voted on by the United Soccer Coaches. Ault is one of 15 semifinalists named to the list. The three finalists will be named Dec. 17.

The Noblesville, Indiana, native recorded 42 total points this season, marking the most by any Indiana player since forward Pat Noonan in 2001 and the most by a Big Ten player since Penn State’s forward Corey Hertzog’s 46 in 2010.

Indiana had a 10-1-1 record when Ault scored or assisted in a match this season.

Ault also won Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week three times over the course of the year and was named to the TopDrawer Soccer Team of the Week twice.

The United Soccer Coaches also released its All-Region teams Tuesday. Ault and junior forward Collins Oduro were selected to the first team, while sophomore defender Josh Maher was honored as a third-team selection.

Oduro tallied four goals and six assists this season. Maher recorded two goals and one assist, and he was a key contributor in four of Indiana's five clean sheets.
