Indiana men’s basketball earned the No. 25 spot in the Associated Press Top 25 Men’s College Basketball Poll released Monday and moved up one spot to No. 24 in the USA Today Coaches top 25 poll

The AP Poll marks the first time Indiana has made the ranking under first-year head coach Darian DeVries. It’s also Indiana’s first time in the poll since Nov. 25, 2024. Last season, the Hoosiers were No. 14 in the country that week before dropping out after going 1-2 in the 2024 Battle 4 Atlantis tournament.

The Hoosiers started the season 5-0 with home wins over Alabama A& M University, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the University of the Incarnate Word and Lindenwood University. Indiana also recorded a 100-77 neutral court win over Marquette University on Nov. 9.

Indiana now faces Kansas State University at 8 p.m. Tuesday and Bethune-Cookman University at noon Saturday. Both contests will be at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington. Tuesday’s matchup will be streamed on FS1, while Saturday’s matchup will be streamed on the Big Ten Network.
