When No. 2 Indiana football takes the field for its contest against Penn State at noon Saturday inside Beaver Stadium, one of its top players will be back in the fold.

Senior linebacker Aiden Fisher, who suffered a left knee injury against UCLA on Oct. 25 and missed the Hoosiers’ victory over Maryland on Nov. 1, is off the Big Ten availability report released Saturday morning.

Through his eight games this season, Fisher has accumulated 49 total tackles, seven tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.

While Fisher is set to return, Elijah Sarratt is listed as questionable. The senior receiver exited in the first quarter against Maryland with a hamstring injury. His 46-game streak with at least one catch in each contest came to an end, but he could begin a new one Saturday should he suit up.

Sixth-year senior kickoff specialist Brendan Franke was ruled out against Penn State after sustaining an apparent lower-body injury versus UCLA. Redshirt junior left guard Drew Evans remains sidelined with an undisclosed injury.

Redshirt senior offensive lineman Zen Michalski slotted into Evans’ role against the Terrapins. He’ll likely continue to do so Saturday.

Redshirt junior linebacker Kaiden Turner is also out after suffering a calf injury against Maryland.

Kickoff is slated for noon inside Beaver Stadium in University Park, Pennsylvania, with the matchup being broadcast on Fox.
