Indiana women’s basketball gained a four-star recruit Sunday. Forward Addison Nyemchek announced her commitment to the Hoosiers in an X post.
Nyemchek, who is a four-star prospect according to 247 Sports, chose Indiana over Michigan and Texas Christian University. The 6-foot-1-inch Nyemchek will join the Hoosiers after the 2025-26 season as a freshman.
Nyemchek attends Red Bank Catholic High School in Red Bank, New Jersey. She averaged 12.8 points per game through her first three seasons of high school basketball, along with 6.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
The Hoosiers finished last season with a 20-13 record and their season ended with a loss to the University of South Carolina in the NCAA Tournament Round of 32 on March 23 in Columbia, South Carolina. Indiana will open its season in an exhibition against the Missouri University of Science and Technology on Oct. 27.
