Three and a half months after finding a new home, former Indiana men’s basketball assistant coach Yasir Rosemond is on the move again. This time, he’s headed to Oregon — his alma mater — according to a press release Monday.

Rosemond spent four seasons on former head coach Mike Woodson’s staff before joining Louisiana State University’s staff April 7.

We are really excited to have Yasir back in Eugene,” Oregon head coach Dana Altman said in the release. “His experience in developing student-athletes will be a great addition to our program.”

Rosemond played two seasons at Oregon from 1997-99 and later returned to the university to earn his degree after playing professionally. The Atlanta native previously spent five seasons on the Ducks’ staff from 2005-2010 — lasting until Altman arrived in Eugene.

Prior to his four seasons in Bloomington, Rosemond spent time as an assistant at the University of Alabama, the University of Georgia, Samford University and Seattle University.

New Indiana head coach Darian DeVries, hired March 18, didn’t retain any of Woodson’s assistants and instead brought an entirely new staff: Drew Adams, Rod Clark, Kenny Johnson and Nick Norton.
