In an email obtained by the IDS, University Information Technology Services said because of a universal website issue, the university is in the process of changing the website hosting environment from Sitehost to SiteKube.
Multiple IU webpages have been facing technical issues for several days.
As of June 22, UITS said they restored access to the high-traffic IU webpages that represent 90% of the website traffic. Certain web applications, database connections or other functionality hosted on Sitehost will require site administrator review prior to publishing on the new SiteKube platform.
UITS will continue to restore university websites, prioritizing student needs and university operation sites, the email said. However, no timeline has been provided for when full website functionality will be restored.
