Constellation Stage & Screen will present two interactive screening experiences of the smash-hit movie musicals “Mamma Mia!” and “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” at the Waldron Arts Center.
“Mamma Mia!” will be shown at 7:30 p.m. July 12 and 13, and the sequel will be screened at 7:30 p.m. July 20.
The special sing-along screenings are back by popular demand, according to a press release from Constellation, and will also include a short pre-show event including a costume contest, where guests can win for their best 70s disco-inspired attire. The pre-show will also include a finish-that-lyric challenge and trivia, and attendees can snap photos in a themed photobooth or grab a specialty cocktail from the bar.
The movie musicals prominently feature the music of popular 1970s group ABBA and is set in the summertime on the islands of Greece. The audience is encouraged to sing along and dress on theme for a night of summer fun.
Tickets are available for $12 online or $15 at the door.
