Three fraternity house storage sheds broken into in May

IU Police Department received three reports of burglaries at fraternity house storage sheds, according to a May 29 crime notice email. The storage sheds at the houses were broken into and had items removed.  

The reported burglaries took place within three weeks of one another. 

On May 9, tools were stolen from a storage shed at Pi Kappa Phi on 1720 N. David Baker Ave. Four days later on May 13, a bike was stolen from a storage shed at Theta Chi on 1440 N. David Baker Ave. On May 25, sports equipment was stolen from a storage shed at Sigma Alpha Epsilon on 1115 N. Eagleson Ave. 

The email said suspect information is unknown at this time. Anyone with information is encouraged to call IUPD at 812-885-4111 or Crime Stoppers at 1-317-262-8477.
